See the Climate Control Install Guide for the steps to remove the trim piece from around the CD changer.

Remove the four screws that hold the radio in.

Remove the wire harness and the antenna

Remove the rubber seal.

Remove the knobs by pulling them straight off.

Remove the 8 screws (4 on each side) that hold on the mounting brackets. They are marked by red arrows in the picture. Then remove the 2 screws (1 on each side) that hold the face plate on. It is marked be the blue arrow.

Along the outside of the face plate you will see some tabs. Use a flat head screwdriver to carefully pry the face plate off the tabs. Be careful not to break the plastic.

Remove the 7 screws that hold the circuit board to the plastic face plate.

Locate all 8 bulbs on the circuit board.

Cut the bulbs off the board using side cutters. Try to cut them as close to the board as possible. Cut both sides of each bulb and remove the bulbs from the board.

Bend the LED leads straight out from the LED. Cut the leads so they are about 1/4 of an inch long.

Solder the LED leads to the contacts where you cut the stock bulbs. Be sure to solder the positive side of the LED to the positive contact on the board. The green arrows in the picture below show the positive contact.

After all the LEDs are soldered in, locate the 8 resistors that we will be removing.

Use the solder braid to remove the resistors. Once they have been removed, solder in the resistors supplied in the LED kit.

After all the resistors are soldered, reassemble everything in the reverse order.
