MAP LIGHT INSTALLATION GUIDE

*Please read this all the way through before doing this install!*
We will not be held responsible for any mistakes, problems, or damage done to any part of your car. Follow this install guide carefully, and you should have no problems. If you are unsure about ANYTHING, please email us. We will help you out to the best of our ability.

Here Is What You Will Need:
- Flat head screwdriver
(BMW screwdriver works great.)

Use the flat head screwdriver to carefully pry the trim piece, starting with the back (the end closest to the trunk). It is also possible to remove the trim piece with your fingers. Disconnect any wires from the trim piece.


Through the opening, push the tabs circled below in and pull the light module down and it will come out.


Disconnect the wire from the light module. Unlock the 2 outside bulbs by twisting them approx 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Remove the holders (with the bulbs) and separate the bulb from the holder.

Install the LED from the front of the light module


Push the LED toward the back with your finger.


Put the bulb holder on the LED and install the bulb holder in the light module. Make sure the LED is fully installed into the bulb holder by pushing on it from the front of the light module with your finger.

Plug the light module back in and test it. If the LED does not light up, untwist the bulb holder and lift it just enough (see picture below) to rotate the LED and holder 1/2 a turn (180 degrees) and put it back in. Again, make sure the LED is fully installed into the bulb holder.

Once you know the LEDs are in the right way, install everything in the reverse order.
