GAUGE CLUSTER INSTALLATION GUIDE
97-01 Honda Prelude

*Please read this all the way through before doing this install!*
We will not be held responsible for any mistakes, problems, or damage done to any part of your car. Follow this install guide carefully, and you should have no problems. If you are unsure about ANYTHING, please email us. We will help you out to the best of our ability.

Here Is What You Will Need:
- Phillips head screw driver
- Flat head screw driver


First, we need to remove the cluster, starting by removing the 2 screws that hold the gauge cluster trim piece.


Next, lower the steering wheel and remove the trim piece. Remove the 4 screws that are holding in the gauge cluster.


Unplug the 3 wire harnesses from the back of the cluster. There are 2 on top and one on the left side.


Remove the Gauge Cluster. Remove the plastic from the from t of the gauge cluster buy unclipping all the tabs shown below. Use of a screw driver may help you unclip them.


Now that we have the black plastic off, we need to remove the Tachometer, Temperature, Speedometer, and Fuel gauges. This is done by removing 13 screws.


DO NOT REMOVE THE NEEDLES. There is no need to remove the needles in this project. If you do, replacing them may damage the unit.


Turn the gauge cluster over and remove the stock bulb holder. Once they are out, remove the bulbs from their holders and put the holders back into the gauge cluster


Insert the LEDs into the bulb holder from the front.


Reinstall everything in the reverse order.
