Here Is What You Will Need:
- A fine point soldering iron ($8 - RadioShack part number: 64-2051)
- Solder (can be found at RadioShack for around $4)
- De-soldering braid ($3 - RadioShack part number: 64-2090)
- Phillips head screw driver

- Flat head screw driver

- Side Cutters (or wire cutters)

In the pocket on the drivers door, there is a plastic cover that is covering. Flip this up to uncover the screw and remove the screw.

Gently pull on the armrest assembly to unclip it from the door panel. The red circles indicate where the clips are located.

Remove the 3 screws marked in the picture below to remove the control unit.

Using a small flat head screwdriver, unclip the clips shown in the picture to separate the 2 halves of the plastic casing.

Pull the window lock button to remove.

Pull the circuit board out of the plastic casing. You can use a flat head screw driver to help you remove it, just be careful not to damage the board or any of the components on the other side of the board.

Here is a picture of the board removed from the plastic casing

Gently unclip the LED support from the board, and bend it as shown in the picture to expose the LED leads. Cut the leads where the blue mark is in the picture below.

Remove the stock LED and compare it to the new replacement LED. Cut the leads of the new LED so the leads will be about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch longer than the stock LED. Put the new LED in the LED support and solder the new LED to the leads that are sticking up from the board. Be sure to solder the + LED lead to the + lead on the board. There is a blue arrow in the picture below showing a solder joint so you know where to solder.

Clip the LED support back on the board Before you put the circuit board back in the plastic casing, be sure the window switch is lined up with the other button in the white block. Put everything back together in the reverse order.
